Re-Election for President Obama Should Not Hinge on Gas Prices (ContributorNetwork)

In 2008, record gas prices led one presidential hopeful to push a renewable energy platform that helped him get elected, as reported by the Washington Post. Of course, as anyone who regularly fills up a vehicle at the gas pump knows already, gas prices are expensive yet again, and as The Christian Science Monitor reports, probably headed higher.
