I am a resident of Florida. My wife and I are in the process of compiling a living will using forms from an online site. We plan on naming our eldest daughter as the executor. With regards to our home, does she automatically get the home on providing the living will and death certificates, or do we need to include a quit-claim deed in with the living will? (This is assuming my wife and I die together)

Overview:

CDC estimates that influenza virus infections in the United States result in an average of more than 200,000 related hospitalizations, and between 3,300 to 49,000 deaths each year, depending upon the severity of the influenza season. Annual influenza vaccination is recommended for all persons aged 6 months and older, and is the best way to prevent influenza. However, available evidence consistently indicates that antiviral treatment, when initiated as early as possible in patients with confirmed or suspected influenza, can reduce severe outcomes of influenza.? During this COCA conference call, a subject matter expert will review current Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and CDC guidance on the use of antiviral medications in the prevention and treatment of influenza.

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) ? A Roman Catholic priest whose efforts to help troubled Omaha youth were made famous by Spencer Tracy's Academy Award-winning portrayal of him in the 1938 movie "Boys Town" has been nominated for sainthood.

Archbishop George Lucas posted an announcement on the doors of St. Cecilia Cathedral on Monday saying the Omaha Archdiocese had begun the process of seeking sainthood for the Rev. Edward Flanagan.

"We are humbled and overjoyed," said Steven Wolf, president of the Father Flanagan League, which has long sought sainthood for Flanagan. "We see this as a response to the Holy Spirit that is moving through an international groundswell of devotion that, as best we can measure at this time, includes devotion to Father Flanagan by the faithful in nine countries and 36 states here in the U.S."

The Irish-born Flanagan, who died of a heart attack in 1948 at age 61 while visiting Germany, founded the Boys Town orphanage in a downtown Omaha home in 1917. Boys Town moved to its current west Omaha location several years later, and today serves as a center for troubled area youth while running campuses and programs for thousands of other boys and girls across the country. The organization also operates an Omaha research hospital and a national resource and training center, and it has publishing arm, Boys Town Press.

Lucas said the archdiocese will open a cause for sainthood on March 17, which is St. Patrick's Day, at Flanagan's gravesite on the Boys Town grounds. On that day, Flanagan will be named a "servant of God" and a group of tribunal members will be assembled to review Flanagan's life work.

According to U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, the church then requires three more steps for a candidate to become a saint: veneration, beatification and canonization.

In the first step, the title of "venerable" is given to someone who has died and been recognized by the pope as having lived heroic virtues. To be beatified, one miracle must be attributed to the candidate. Canonization requires a second miracle, although the pope may waive some of these requirements.

The Father Flanagan League has gathered testimony from six people in its quest to prove to the Vatican that Flanagan is responsible for several miracles, all involving the curing of illnesses. Among those who testified is a woman from Italy who says she was cured of what should have been a fatal brain aneurysm after praying for Flanagan's help, Wolf said. Another woman from Omaha says prayers to Flanagan cured her of advanced breast cancer.

Wolf noted that the six cases are yet to be proven with medical documentation, but the group hopes the Vatican will find miracles occurred in at least two of the cases.

What is certain is that the road to sainthood will be a long one.

"Usually, it's a pretty slow process," the Rev. Thomas J. Reese, a senior fellow at the Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown University, said of attaining sainthood. "Except for some recent ones like Mother Teresa and John Paul II, we're talking 20 years before some of these people get through the process.

?My surprise tonight is I would like to tonight announce a donation to the Obama Super PAC?which has the very unfortunate tongue-twister name ?Priority (sic) USA Action?,? Maher said. ?I know, it was named by Borat. But tonight I would like to give that PAC one million dollars.?

The concert, which was live streamed on Yahoo!, was held in San Jose, California and was billed by Yahoo! As the first stand-up comedy concert to be streamed live online.

In a tweet after the event, Maher said the announcement was a surprise to the Yahoo! organizers.

?The rest of those people are, of course, selling their souls to the corporate interests who back them,? Maher said. ?They all act like god created the world in January of 2009, and then Barack Obama completely screwed it up.?

When asked in the same interview who he thought was going to win the 2012 electron, Maher quickly tapped the president as the eventual winner.

?My money is still on Mitt Romney,? said Maher when asked who the eventual Republican nominee. ?And I think he?s going to get the nomination, and then I think Obama is going to beat him like a runaway sister wife, yes, I do.?

Maher?s million dollar donation will substantially boost the coffers of the Super PAC which raised only $58,815.83 in January, according to a report filed earlier in the week with the Federal Election Commission.

Escape from parental monitoring ?isn?t the only thing driving teens to Twitter. When celebrities adopted the micro-blogging platform kids followed. One can only hope all of Justin Bieber?s 17 million+ followers are all teenagers. Eminem has 8 million (including my privacy-seeking son), Katy Perry 14 million, and Taylor Swift nearly 11 million. The same Pew survey found that most teens are happy using Twitter for benign purposes like following their favorite artists, exploring adolescent angst, and passing along immature humor. If only all kids could be as good as yours and mine. ?

Electronic communication offers a distance that can embolden mean kids. ?No one is safe from this new approach to bullying,? says Dawn Spragg, a Licensed Counselor ?working with teens and their families in Bentonville, Arkansas, where three high school students were issued citations in Juvenile Court?recently for publishing nasty tweets about classmates in a virtual "slam book" on Twitter. Spragg says that the anonymity of online aliases allows kids to bully without having to "back it up" like the bullies of decades past.

The Pew study found that 15 percent of teens have been the target of online bullying. This so-called cyber-bullying has become so prevalent that school districts nationwide are adding ?electronic act? clauses to their anti-bullying policies to help them punish kids who bully others via phone or Internet. However, as pointed out in Twitter?s Parent and Teen Safety Tips, online harassment is usually rooted in "real world" relationships.
